Anderson Hays Cooper is an American journalist, author, and TV personality. He was born on June 3, 1967 in New York City. The son of writer Wyatt Emory Cooper and designer, writer, artist, and heiress Gloria Vanderbilt, he was still a baby when he was photographed by Diane Arbus and was featured on Harper’s Bazaar. When he turned three, he was highlighted on screen for the first time when he made a guesting appearance on The Tonight Show where he was accompanied by his mother who was then prominent in the media. Years after, he attended college at Yale University and worked at the ABC after he graduated. He soon became a correspondent of the ABC News and eventually became a co-anchor of World News Now. These days, he is regarded as one of the notable media personalities in the world.
