Amy Winehouse was born in Chase Farm Hospital in north London on September 14, 1983 to Mitchell “Mitch” Winehouse and Janis Winehouse who were both Jewish. The former worked as a window panel installer then as a taxi driver whereas the latter worked as a pharmacist. Amy also had an older brother, Alex who was born on 1979.
It wasn’t just Amy who was fond of theater music because her family as well loved it. The award-winning English singer-songwriter who gave life to the songs ‘Rehab’ and ‘You Know I’m No Good’ had her big break in 2008 when she became the first British female to win five Grammy Awards on the same night. Although Amy became famous because of her immeasurable talent, she got drowned by drink and tranquilized by drug abuse which caused her death on July 23,2011.
In the lighter side, the troubled singer found her way back to a healthy lifestyle by focusing on exercising which made her family really happy and grateful as well because instead of using drugs, Amy spent hours working out every day to the point that she even had her own gym. This positive addiction helped the rehab hit maker to become fitter than ever.
