Alexa Towersey - celebhealthy_comAlexa Towersey is an Australian celebrity fitness trainer and a nutrition and lifestyle coach. She is known as the founder of  Creating Curves. Known for her 15 years of service and counting in the fitness industry, she began her fitness journey as a body double for top American fitness model Victoria Pratt. She also became one of the judges for the internationally acclaimed Body for Life competition.

HIIT training is one of Alexa’s best weapons to have an awesome body. According to her in an interview with Women’s Health and Fitness, “I like 400m sprint repeats the best.  Start with 5 to 7 and increase each week. 60 to 90 seconds rest between. Don’t do these on the same day as your weight training.’

She also shared her love for Tabata Protocols. “I like to use Tabata-style exercises as ‘finishers’ after a weight-training workout,” she said. “It’s essentially maximum reps of an exercise in 20 seconds followed by a 10-second rest and repeated for a total of eight rounds.”
