Alanis Nadine Morissette, simply known as Alanis Morissette, is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and actress. She was born on June 1, 1974 in Ottawa, Canada. She is known to be of French-Canadian, Irish, and Hungarian ancestry. She started learning piano when she was 6 years old and started to compose songs when she was 7. At the age of 9, she was able to write her own music. When she turned 10, she was already seen in the Nickelodeon series called You Can’t Do That on Television. In 1991, she successfully launched her debut album called Alanis. Her renowned and iconic songs include Uninvited, You Oughta Know, Hand in My Pocket, and You Learn.
No matter how busy the pop singer is, she still has time to go to the gym. As a matter of fact, she’s a regular gymmer at a certain fitness center. Apart from working out, she also attends yoga classes to improve her mind and body’s function.
Talking about diet, she was once a vegetarian. Nowadays, however, she practices a balanced and healthy diet. She says she only eats a little meat to maintain her body weight.
