Al Gore, originally Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., is an American politician, advocate, and philanthropist. He was born on March 31, 1948 in Washington, D.C. to parents Albert Gore, Sr. and Pauline. Known as the 45th Vice President of the United States, he served the country as the second president next to Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2000.
He was educated at an all-boys school called St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. and proceeded college at Harvard. In 1970, he married Tipper Gore but eventually got separated to her in the year 2010. He has four children namely Karenna, Kristin Carlson Gore, Sarah LaFon Gore, and Albert Gore III.
In one of his interviews, Al admitted that he’s practicing a vegan diet. He said, “Over a year ago I changed my diet to a vegan diet, really just to experiment to see what it was like. And I felt better, so I continued with it. Now, for many people, that choice is connected to environmental ethics and health issues and all that stuff, but I just wanted to try it to see what it was like. In a visceral way, I felt better, so I’ve continued with it and I’m likely to continue it for the rest of my life.”
Being a vegetarian has done so many great things to celebrities and even non-celebrities who believe in it. And well, obviously, it didn’t fail the ex-Vice President. A 66, he’s still amazingly fit and strong.
